Erika brings a rare combination to fund management: the operational experience of someone who has built from scratch, the financial rigor of someone who has moved philanthropic, public, and private capital into underserved communities, and the deep conviction of someone who has treated communities as partners, not recipients.

She designed and launched the Central Maine Catalyst Fund through the U.S. Economic Development Administration — a place-based investment initiative that expanded capital access for underserved entrepreneurs. She co-developed the Community Capital Investment Accelerator with the International Economic Development Council, a national program bridging government, investors, and academia.

As CEO of 3 Day Startup, she led a global nonprofit delivering entrepreneurship education to more than 17,000 participants across 14 countries and secured partnerships with the U.S. Department of State. As Venture Partner at Mendoza Ventures, she designed fellowship and ecosystem programs for emerging fund managers and underrepresented founders.
